Elyiethe was born and raised in Norey, Kanemoria, to performer parents. A summer child, her mother was happy her daughter could have her birthday in the busiest time of the year, there would always be something happening, even if she had to go through 13 hours of labour when she was supposed to be on stage. (Unlike other women, whenever Elyiethe was being difficult or wanted something her mother did not approve of, she didn't remind her of the fact, instead patting her on the head and telling her to wait until it was her turn to give birth, and then she'd be sorry.) Her father died a few years after Elyiethe was born, and she can't remember anything about him except that he had a heartwarming smile.

Growing up with a single parent, the girl spent much of her time watching her mother and her group of preformers rehearse, sitting in the back of the theatre under the pretense that she was doing schoolwork. Instead she watched as they danced, repeated lines, made sets and put on the final product for all of Norey to come watch, and by that time, she usually knew the whole play by heart, mouthing the words on opening night.

It didn't take very long before people started noticing. Elyiethe was six when she got carried onstage by a group of dancers who'd seen the abandoned books and the twitching in the girl's posture whenever they started their routine. So they made her try to follow them. She did, and she did it well for someone so young. As a result, she kept practising with them, never actually being on stage on opening night, but she basically acted as an understudy. If a dancer twisted her foot, Elyiethe was there to cover the part for the night.

Her mother didn't mind either; she loved seeing her daughter blossom under the limelight and watched as she grew more confident and ambitious, acting pleasantly surprised when Elyiethe, aged thirteen, asked if she could actually take on a minor part in the next production.

Her roles grew in size as well as number, but it didn't really hit the girl she was rapidly building a reputation for herself until she was stopped at a market place in the Trade District and asked if she was really Elyiethe and if please, please, could she sign a slip of parchment so the people back in Coldnor would believe they'd actually met her?

The summer Elyiethe turned 17, her mother retired from the stage, having contracted a bad cough that had been building for a few years. She instead devoted her time to tutoring her daughter, help and pointers the girl was more than happy to receive, although at times she felt she knew better and would do almost the exact opposite of what her mother told her.

Sometimes it was for the better, sometimes it wasn't.

But the bottom line was she grew more and more experienced and well versed in dancing as well as acting. Elyiethe spent almost all her time singing, dancing, acting, observing and memorizing lines, routines, scripts, whatever she could get her hands on of creative writing. Something, anything that could be turned into something spectacular on the stage, she was all over.

So when the production of Rent was announced, she was quick to jump at the chance to audition for the role of Mimi, picking the role that interested her the most, in the play that was the most controversial she had seen in Norey thus far.

Elyiethe is ambitious and focused. She has a tendency to take on as much as she can at every time, but she will never ever let it stress her to a breaking point. To her, there's not enough time to stress over deadlines or be afraid she might mess things up, because she can do anything she puts her mind to as long as she tries hard enough. She has a lot of confidence in her abilities, and doesn't actually need the praise she usually gets in reviews, although she'll admit to the fact that she enjoys the attention.

She doesn't like being idle except just after a play has finished, going out with the cast and crew and having a good time to celebrate, then perhaps a few days to rest and regroup before she starts a new project. The only time she actually does relax, however, is when she takes baths, spending as much time as her schedule will allow her to soak in the water. She's very conscious about appearances, and because she knows people often associate a performer with a particular trait or quirk, making them more easily recognizable, she usually dresses in either white, black or dark red.

Although she's very absorbed in what she does, she takes the time to get to know the people she's working with, as well as her admirers (the ones that aren't vaguely creepy, that is). Elyiethe is very approachable and friendly, quick to smile and tease to show how comfortable she is with a person, though her mind might wander to other places should a conversation grow tiresome or repetitive. A part of her might be afraid to let people get too close, but it's a part she keeps well hidden. She only really confides in her mother, although her trust is easily won.

All the same, Elyiethe still has the same emotions as any person, she does get depressed, but she tries to not let things bother her most of the time. At least she won't show anyone that it does bother her. Should she not get a part she wanted, she might harbour some bitterness, but she won't voice it, because it could be horrendously bad for her professional image.

She likes to keep up on every working part of a production, and wants to, some time in the future, to become more than just a popular actress; own a theatre, be a production manager, be the leading lady.

Or all of the above.

Elyiethe is very very beautiful. She stands at 5'6" with long flowing blonde hair and light blue eyes, and a perfectly symmetrical body. She takes good care of her physical appearance as well, fully aware that it has a great deal to do with her popularity among theatre-goers. She stands up straight, looks poised, excercises regularly, stretches after performances, and doesn't go to bed too late, nor get up too early.

She carries herself with confidence and has an air that suggests she knows she can do no wrong and as long as she's on your side, you can't either. It translates to almost everything she does, executing simple actions such as just eating an apple into something quite graceful.

Her dresscode is mostly black, white and crimson, it depends on the season and on what shade the sun has coloured her skin; is she pale, it's black or crimson, more tanned, she usually dresses in white. Her skirts are usually short, mid-thigh, but they still use a lot of material to make them very poofy and flowing. She needs it to be able to move around a lot when she's dancing or otherwise. She loves accessories, laces and ribbons, and ties her hair up during rehearsals in intricate ways that she doesn't have the faintest clue how they actually work, her mother just taught her how.

Her voice is surprisingly throaty when she talks, but her vocal range is six octaves, and her laughter is usually high and pearly, if not contagious. She gets dimples when she smiles, though she's not terribly fond of them and therefore has the habit of covering her mouth with her hand when she's smiling, if she can help it.

She threads lightly when she moves, and actually prefers to practice dance steps on the way to wherever she's going, not exactly caring who sees her. She's an entertainer at heart, there's no part of her life that doesn't seep into.
